Healthcare knowledge provider, BMJ, and not for profit technology provider for research and education, Jisc, agreed upon a 12-month ‘publish and read’ pilot to make UK research more accessible and sustainable. Research funded by UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), Wellcome, and medical charities can be published open access.
